True Crime Holiday Gift Guide 2019

Do you have a true crime nerd in your life that you need to buy for this holiday season? My friends and family love to find unique gifts to fuel my true crime obsession. I have put together a short list of awesome true crime themed gifts that I have received or stumbled upon over the last few years. These gifts are sure to please any true crime nerd and will not break the bank! I have attempted to provide links for all the items mentioned below to make your gift buying even easier. 1. Books- Prices Vary
This is the obvious go to gift for those crime nerds who love to read! Bookstores usually have a whole section dedicated to true crime and I'm sure you will be able to find a book or two for your crime loving friend. If your nervous you will purchase a book they already have in their collection maybe opt for a Barnes & Noble or Amazon gift card so their reading options are endless!
2. Serial Killer Coloring Books- $7.00-$10.00
This was an item that I somehow stumbled upon a couple of years ago while browsing on Amazon. I had no idea that serial killer coloring books existed....but they do! Although I have never taken a marker or crayon to my books, they are staple items in my true crime collection and I'm sure others would enjoy having them in theirs.
3.Serial Killer Calendar: This Day in Killer History- $19.95
I received this book last year as a gift from a dear friend and was so excited. We had a lot of fun looking up everyone's birthdays and other dates to see what crime history had happened that day.
4. Serial Killer Trivia- $11.67
Why did I not know this book existed! I am always inserting "fun" serial killer facts into my everyday conversation and this book would definitely help me up my game. I came across this recently on Amazon and immediately added it to my wish list.
5. 365 Days of True Crime: Page a Day Calendar- $18.99
Who would have thought that you could have a desk calendar dedicated to serial killers but then again you can order anything on Amazon these days. This is another unique gift for true crime nerds, however make sure you consider weather this would be an appropriate item for them to have in their work place setting. Some people just do not understand the obsession with true crime!
6. Notorious Serial Killers: A Killer Trumps Card Game- $12.90
I received these in the one and only Creepy Crate (link at end of post) that I received last year. There were a few great items in this box that would be perfect holiday gifts, however some of them I could not find the option of purchasing as a single item. BUT, this card game set is available on Amazon for purchase. You do have the option to purchase some items from their past months boxes, such as the pogo the clown mug in the photo above.
7. Crime Scene Forensic Kit: The Missy Hammond Case- $55.06
Although this is one of the more pricier items on the list it is sure to please any aspiring crime scene investigator. This gift is very interactive and fun for more then just one person. I may just have to purchase this and host a CSI night at my house.
8.True Crime, Glass of Wine, Bed by Nine Sweatshirt- $24.99
Ok, I have to admit I purchased this as a Christmas gift for myself! As if I needed another reason to love Target, you can now purchase the perfect sweatshirt for under $25 dollars! I can not wait to wear this everyday.
P.S. I ordered mine while it was on sale and got it for under $20.00!
9. Brain Games- True Crime Puzzles- $7.98
If you have someone on your list who loves true crime and puzzles this is the perfect gift. I have found different versions of these true crime puzzle books through out the years and they never disappoint. There are even a few puzzles that have stumped a pro like me.
10. CrimeCon- Prices vary
Alright, I saved the splurge item for last. Attending CrimeCon is every true crime nerds dream vacation. I have had the pleasure of attending two past CrimeCon conventions and I can truly say it was worth every penny. So, if you have a significant other or maybe a family member who loves true crime this may be the ultimate gift for them. Whether you purchase them a ticket to attend next years CrimeCon in Orlando or a pass aboard the first ever CrimeCuise next October I'm sure they will be forever grateful. If your budget doesn't allow for a extravagant trip as a gift then maybe consider an item from the CrimeCon store. The store has several clothing options, drink ware and novelty items to offer that are very good quality. AND CrimeCon is now offering gift cards for the holiday season!
